The Band
Highvalley Acoustics consists of Lorn Kell Clark on Lead Vocals and Rythym Guitar, Adam Reese on Lead Guitar, Chuck Emering on Bass, and Erick Barbre on Drums. Both Natives of Greenville, SC, Lorn and Adam have been composing music together for over 4 years. We've brought in Chuck Emering's funky rock and roll bass lines all the way from New Jersey to get things rolling nice and groovy. Now add the foundation of Erick's intrepid drumbeats and you've got a mix that will tantilize your ears!
The Name
The band name comes from the name of the street where Adam and Lorn shared a house and began the first compositions of our songs. It's also where our earliest recordings took place, some of which are used even today. Lorn still lives on High Valley Blvd.
Live!!!
We enjoy playing in live, energetic settings and venues in and around the upstate area. We are able to provide our own stage equipment for small to medium-size venues. Our format options include full band, acoustic full band, and dual acoustic guitars/vocals. We have over two and a half hours of original music availible to play at our shows. Our gigs may be lengthened for up to 4 hours in total by adding cover songs for up to half of each set. Bands we cover include: The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, U2, Sublime, Jane's Addiction, Pearl Jam, The Verve, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, The Allman Brothers Band, Peter Gabriel, Coldplay, The Fray, Oasis, Stone Temple Pilots, and more..
